History Of Hope Springs Europe
In August 2008, 5 of us came together to pray and to discuss about the inner needs of Chinese believers in the UK. Chinese Christian Churches (CCCs) At that time, four of us have been in pastoral ministry for over 30 years. After 7 years of holding annual prayer conferences, we saw very clearly that many believers carried huge baggage’s that had hindered their spiritual and emotional growth. God had used our experiences in each conference to reveal the needs among the believers, so prayed together for the way forward.
Hope Springs Europe was birth after several weeks of prayer and deliberation.
Who are we?
We are a prayer ministry who are concerned in Christians’ needs for personal healing (spiritual, mental, and physical), counselling, teaching, and restoration. We believe it is God’s will that every Christian should grow in holiness as they grow in discipleship. To be holy, we need to be made whole by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Our objective is to bring Reconciliation, Restoration and Revival in their personal lives
Mission Statement
Jesus said to His disciples in John 20:21 ‘As the Father has sent me, I am sending you’. Our missions are: proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom; binding up the broken hearted; releasing the captives, comforting those who are hurt; proclaiming the year of the Lord’s favour; equipping the believers to be effective disciples of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 61:3).
Basis of faith
God is a Triune God. God the Father created the universe and He loves all people. God the Son, Jesus Christ, who died and rose again for us, is our Lord and Saviour, who will be coming back again to be judge of all the earth. God the Holy Spirit, who is the counsellor, indwells and empowers Christians to continue Christ’s ministry. The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, and it has absolute authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and conduct, and is the basis for teaching.
